It gets good gas mileage, it has comfortable seats and its interior lighting looks great. Despite the obvious family car qualities, the ford focus is, and always has been an excellent drivers’ car. Handling has always been a focus strong suit, and the its fully independent suspension, coupled with a stiff body structure, adds poise and control. Responsive steering is welcome at speed, but is light enough to make a run to the shops easy. The chassis is superbly resolved, offering a good blend of feedback and poise through the bends and decent ride comfort. It has decent power for most needs. Fuel economy is awesome and provides 24/35 mpg city/hwy. Reliability is great. The car feels as well built as the best in class. Inside the ford focus is an aesthetically pleasing cockpit. The front seats are comfortable, with plenty of head and legroom. The trunk is fairly large at 13. 8 cubic feet. The second row seats fold mostly flat to allow loading long, flat packages.
