Very masculine, very german. Externally, s6 differs little from a6. But, it's a real wolf in «sheep's clothing»! The v10 is basically a lamborghini gallardo powerplant that's been altered for use in a front-engine sedan. However, there is also nothing intimidating about driving the s6. The six-speed automatic transmission is super smooth and adds considerably to the joy of driving the a6 and its responsive performance. Another audi hallmark is responsive steering and balanced handling. The servotronic steering allows precise control; the driver simply thinks where he or she wants to go and the car goes there. In high-speed corners the quattro feel like they're on rails, one of the benefits of audi's superb all-wheel-drive system. Braking and handling are excellent, whether on dry pavement or when hurtling through a torrent of rain. Like most audi passenger cabins, the feeling of quality is palpable and the sense of style is impeccable. All the materials scream luxury! The carbon fiber is exceptional. The leather is sturdy and the front seats have enough electronic controls to contort one’s body in dozens of ways. The dash is handsome, solid and purposeful. Audi's mmi(tm) central control system is among the more intuitive of these systems on the market. Luggage capacity is nearly 16 cubic feet. Empire-motors.
