This is a very nice car. It was owned by a nice woman whose roof we repaced several years ago on nantucket island and i asked her to let me know if she would ever like to sell it. Three years and two children later she did. It was used occasionally in the nice weather and i purchased it last october. I then took it to a freind of mine who races and restores and maintains ferraris. As a favor he restored it mechanically and painted it along with some exterior parts. It has less than 40,000 miles on it. the speedometer has been broken for awhile (at 36,000) but we live on an island that is only fifteen miles long and i take it for a spin once or twice a week. The restoration papers are in the photos collection. The car runs like new. My main car is a 2014 911s convertible and i know i won't use this as it should be driven.

The alfa giulietta spider was introduced in 1955 and offered brisk performance of nearly 100 mph with its 1290cc dual overhead cam inline 4 cylinder engine, wrapped in a unibody chassis weighing less than 1,900 pounds. In such events, the alfa giulietta can certainly hold its own. Over the past five years many upgrades to this largely original car have been made. It has been documented by alfa romeo and is a numbers-matching, factory-correct car. The original engine and drivetrain were completely rebuilt to factory specifications by noted alfa specialist and long time racer, dennis pillar. This included bearings, pistons, valves and guides. The weber carburetor was rebuilt, as was the transmission, along with a new clutch assembly. All mechanicals are in excellent condition and it runs and drives without fault. The car was recently re-painted, re-upholstered and carpeted in correct color and style. It was fitted with new radial tires and a new battery. It includes a spare wheel and tire and correct jack. It is ready for the road! It drives wonderfully with tight handling, plenty of power (and a great exhaust note).
